CAPREIT Announces Unit Financing of $131.95 Million

CAPREIT has recently announced an agreement to sell 6,500,000 units to a syndicate of underwriters led by RBC Capital Markets. The units will sell for $20.30 per unit, for aggregate gross proceeds of $131.95 million. To find out more about CAPREIT's unit financing, click here.

Rental Market Figures Released

The TorontoMLS system reported 6,933 apartment lease transactions in May through to August 2011. The 6,933 transactions recorded represent an 11 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2010.
